What's changed in UGO Wallet


UGO Wallet was launched in 2014, and in 2018 became Canada’s first mobile e-gift card solution.

Thank you for being a part of the UGO Wallet community.

Although support will be ending for UGO Wallet on October 15, 2024 UGO will continue to work in the gift card space; however, our focus is shifting to business products. As a result, our product terms have changed, and some app features are no longer be available – please see below.


Features that are no longer available:

  1. Creating an account
  2. Purchasing e-gift cards
  3. Adding/editing cards
  4. Real-time gift card balance checks
  5. Feedback feature
  6. Purchase history*
  7. Cloud Backup*
  8. Account support/management*

*Unsupported as of October 15, 2024.


You will still be able to access the existing cards in your wallet and use the new DOWNLOAD ALL CARDS AS PHOTOS button to save the ones that you'll need in the future.

Please make sure you can access your account. If you need to re-set your password, tap on Forgot Password within the UGO Wallet app and enter your email address, then wait until you receive an email to your inbox. Click on the reset password button in the email to set up a new password in UGO Wallet.

Make sure you download your cards soon as support for the app will end on October 15, 2024.

If you would like to delete your account, you can do so from the UGO Wallet app or by submitting a request.
